What a perfect day! It started off a overcast but matured into the perfect "Kruger" day with the evening being warm and still. I woke up at 5am to break camp and get on the road as soon as possible. Everything was still damp but by 6:30 I was off.
The park is very dry this year. The area around regular waterholes are denuded of vegetation as the grazers and the browsers congregate. I'll upload some pics tomorrow. There are also water shortages at the camps; there are signs all over the place asking everyone to conserve water.
I took the side roads as I was hoping to see some feline predators but no luck today. I did see quite a lot of other game.
